2023 ASAP AWARDS

We are over the moon to be shortlisted in 5 categories in the 2023 ASAP Awards.

This year’s awards focused on three pillars – People, Planet and Principles, with each of the shortlisted nominations having a positive impact on the serviced apartment industry, and/ or colleagues, guests and peers, with these pillars front and foremost.

We are delighted to share our shortlisted team members and properties below:

General Manager / Operations Manager of the Year

Laura Cvrcek, Operations Manager at PREMIER SUITES PLUS Dublin Ballsbridge

Laura joined our team at PREMIER SUITES PLUS Dublin Ballsbridge in 2019 and transformed the whole atmosphere of the property for the team and guests in just 4 years.

Reflected deeply in the immense outpouring of kind testimonials Laura receives, what stood out was how personable, kind, professional and hospitable she is.

Laura has managed to create a great environment for both the team and guests at our Dublin Ballsbridge property, always taking the time to talk and more importantly listen; implementing changes to make everyone feel more comfortable.

Sales Strategy/Initiative of the Year

Sales Team, PREMIER SUITES PLUS Amsterdam

PREMIER SUITES PLUS Amsterdam opened its doors for the first time in July 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, a time, which we all know, brought the hospitality industry to its knees. In unprecedented times, the way we did business changed overnight; the Amsterdam team prioritised reducing the impact of the virus and its knock-on implications, ensuing the success of our newly opened flagship property.

Due to the dedication of the sales team and the drive to continuously look for new opportunities, PREMIER SUITES PLUS Amsterdam was able to stay open throughout the pandemic, allowing us to retain the team, offering security to the people who make our business the success it is today, especially in a time of great uncertainty.

Working within the hospitality industry during an unprecedented global pandemic was a struggle for the industry. Opening a new property in the midst of it all is no easy feat! Continuing their success into 2023, the team has worked hard to build the property into what it is today.

Account Management Team/Initiative of the Year

Christina Connolly, PREMIER SUITES Dublin

With over 16 years working in hospitality under her belt, including 6 years at PREMIER SUITES, Christina enjoys a people-centric and sales-orientated career.

Christina joined our team in 2017, taking on the role of Corporate Sales Manager for our three PREMIER SUITES Dublin properties – Leeson Street, Ballsbridge and Sandyford. Since joining the team, Christina has really made the role her own, bringing her own unique perspective to sales initiatives.

In 2022, with a high demand for serviced apartments in Dublin, Christina implemented a new strategy to ensure our clients having trouble securing accommodation were catered for, ensuring confidence in the PREMIER SUITES offering.

Best Place to Work 2023

PREMIER SUITES Dublin

Hospitality, by definition, is the friendly reception and treatment of guests or strangers. We extend the theme of hospitality to our working environment and we always treat colleagues with respect.

PREMIER SUITES Dublin strives to create the ideal work environment for staff and this includes many benefits such as a competitive salary, staff rates, referral incentive scheme, social outings, flexible hours, employee assistance programme, career progression opportunities, in house training and development opportunities. Most importantly, they endeavour to provide an enjoyable working environment where team members feel respected and can thrive.

In December 2022, the 3 Dublin properties were thrilled to be accredited by ‘Great Place to Work’.

Champion of the Year

Vicky Snook, General Manager PREMIER SUITES Bristol

Adaptable, creative, innovative, customer focused, entrepreneurial, mother hen, problem solver, helpful, driven – just some of the words used by the team to describe Vicky, General Manager at our two PREMIER SUITES Bristol locations.

Vicky joined our PREMIER SUITES team in 2017 as Sales Manager, becoming a benchmark of standard setting for our team and a friendly face for our returning guests. Vicky was recently promoted to General Manager in December 2022, and has hit the ground running, making the role her own.

Her attitude and commitment to not only work duties but her local community, charities, and the environment is an inspiration. Originally trained as a science teacher, Vicky worked in hospitality while completing her degree, fell in love with the industry and never looked back.

Congratulations to all who have been shortlisted. We look forward to celebrating with you all at the upcoming ASAP Awards evening.
