The team at The Hoban Hotel Kilkenny are celebrating on the double as they are awarded Fáilte Ireland 4-star status and Great Place To Work certification through PREM Group.
Located just five minutes’ drive from Kilkenny city centre on the N10 ring road, The Hoban Hotel is a popular destination for meetings, corporate stays and leisure breaks. There are 4 meeting rooms available with capacity for up to 80 delegates. Parking is free of charge for all guests.
Since purchasing the hotel in 2018, PREM Group have invested over €2.2 million to completely refurbish the property. In 2019, the lobby, bar and restaurant were completely redesigned by architect Hugh Wallace with an investment of over €1 million. A further investment of €1.2 million included the renovation of all guest rooms, bathrooms, meeting rooms and corridors.

Having worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, this accreditation is testament to their efforts in welcoming every guest with a smile and ensuring everyone enjoys their stay. The refurbishment work has completely transformed our hotel. The guest rooms now include Nespresso machines, brand new TVs, headboards, bedside lockers, wallpaper, curtains, marble top tables, chairs, and new lighting. The bathrooms have been entirely renovated and fitted with walk-in rainfall showers and steam free mirrors. We’re so proud of this fabulous new offering and we are looking forward to a busy season ahead.
