Museums & History

Sheffield Cathedral

One of Sheffieldā€™s oldest buildings. Tudor monuments which include Mary Queen of Scots during her fourteen years of imprisonment in Sheffield are located in the chapel. Every window in this chapel has a story to tell.

Kelham Island Museum

The museum stands on a man-made island over 900 years old, housing the objects, pictures and archive material representing Sheffieldā€™s industrial story. The interactive galleries tell the story from light trades and skilled workmanship to mass production and what it was like to live and work in Sheffield during the Industrial Revolution.

Millennium Gallery Sheffield
